Welcome to Moonlight Meadows Art! I am Sarenadia - aka Jennifer - and I am a Canadian.

As a Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, I was trained to stay busy. Even in retirement, I’ve had to challenge the deeply ingrained belief that being idle means wasting time—that we only have so much time in this life, and every moment needs to be productive.

I am driven by a need for Purpose. Value. And Attainable Goals.

Creating Moonlight Meadows Art has given me a way to meet that need while discovering new and exciting ways to occupy my mind. More importantly, it has helped me learn to slow down the sense of urgency that followed the abrupt end of my career.

An active mind needs activity. When running, working out, or even leaving the house some days was no longer an option for me, I had to find another way to keep my ever-ruminating mind engaged. I found that solution in crafting and creating.

Moonlight Meadows Art has brought me a new sense of peace, along with fun and meaningful challenges as I continue to grow and expand my abilities. I find myself especially drawn to beadwork and animal- and dragon-inspired themes, where I can let my imagination take the lead.

Each month, I set new goals and challenge myself to bring something new to my shop. There is, thankfully, no end in sight to the things I can learn, create, and explore.

For me, Moonlight Meadows Art is more than a creative outlet. It is a new chapter—a place where purpose can be found in the process, where progress can be measured in small victories, and where there is always another adventure waiting to be created.
